Host plant: larvae feed in roots of marsh mallow (Althaea, Malvaceae)
Distribution: Balcan peninsula, Turkey, Near East

 

The depicted mounted beetle was collected on flower (Malvaceae) near Erdemli (SW Turkey). The living specimen was captured on the host plant (Althaea sp.) near Vayk (Southern Armenia).
