According to Rejzek (in litteris) Chlorophorus dinae develops in dead branches still attached to living trunks and in dead trunks of deciduous trees (Quercus, Ostrya, Carpinus). The larval substrate is a very compact and dry dead wood. Larval development lasts 2 years.

Body length: 8 - 12 mm
Life cycle: 2 years
Adults in: May - July
Host plant: deciduous trees (Quercus, Ostrya, Carpinus)
Distribution: Turkey and Syria


The depicted beetle was collected in Slinfah (Jabal an Nusayriyah Mts., Syria).
